Who we are
Empire Removals was founded in 2017 by James, who first worked in the removal industry in 2010. Having gained experience with other removal companies, both national and local firms, James decided to use this experience and knowledge to start Empire Removals. Based in Newton Abbot, Empire Removals is perfectly geographically placed for house removals in Devon as well as long distance removals.
James combined this experience in removals with the professional qualifications and skills he acquired during a successful career in Property Management. This has resulted in a customer focussed, professional removal service with excellent communication with our customers from the initial enquiry where we respond within 24 hours, right the way through to move day where we will move you using professional equipment and friendly, experienced staff.
James is passionate about his business and most importantly enjoys his day to day role. With a house removal, there is much more than just putting some boxes and furniture in a van. It is about ensuring the items are stacked safely and securely in our vans and being carried in a safe manageable way. Every move is different with different challenges which our staff are trained to handle. No day is the same from moving standard furniture and boxes or removing a room full of life size anatomical skeletons (as recently happened whilst moving one of our customers).
